Vincent Toma

M.D.

Meet Vincent Toma

Vincent Toma, M.D. received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine (Detroit) where he graduated near the top of his class. He then completed his surgical internship at the Detroit Receiving Hospital. Following that he completed his residency in Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery at Wayne State University and the Detroit Medical Center, with oncology training at the Karmanos Cancer Center (Detroit).Furthermore, he has completed fellowship training courses in Otolaryngic Allergy. Dr. Toma is nasal and sinus surgery specialist with a special interest in precision functional rhinoplasty.

In addition to several honors and awards, he has performed NIH sponsored research in Otolaryngology related to hearing loss.

He also has performed research related to Head & Neck trauma which has been published in some of the top medical journals and presented at several different national meetings for the American Academy of Otolaryngology.

Currently he enjoys practicing general otolaryngology with a particular interest in sinus & allergy diseases, obstructive sleep apnea, and facial cosmetics. His hobbies include basketball, tennis, bicycling, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Toma is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery.
